Send Love From Home

Let your child know you're thinking of them through one of our "Send Love From Home" care packages! Our staff will hand deliver your selected package with a note from you. Choose from three options - Jewish Penicillin Hotline, Birthday Express, and "Happy Day" Care Packages. All food items are Vaad certified Kosher and nut-free.


Jewish Penicillin Hotline

We know it can be hard for students to be away from home, especially when they're under the weather. Jewish penicillin is just a click away!

If your child is sick, visit to schedule a soup delivery and we’ll deliver matzo ball soup, crackers, and other treats to your student’s dorm or apartment within 48 hours with a personalized get well card from you! A $30 gift to WashU Hillel is requested.

Birthday Express

Can’t be with your student to celebrate their special day? Let them know you’re thinking about them with a delicious birthday cake! Our cakes can be customized with your choice of cake flavor (yellow or chocolate), frosting flavor (white or chocolate), and icing colors and are delivered to their residence with a personalized birthday card from you! Choose from:

  • 12” Cookie Cake (serves 12+) - $30
  • 8” Small Cake (serves 10) - $36
  • ¼ Sheet Large (serves 15+) - $45

Visit to order at least 5 business days in advance.   

"Happy Day" Care Packages

Help celebrate your student’s achievement or lift their spirits by sending some love from home. Let us deliver your sentiments with a special care package. We offer two “Happy Day” care packages at $40 each:

  • Deli Love - Includes 1/2 lb corned beef, 1/2 lb turkey breast, 1/2 loaf large rye bread, 1/2 lb cole slaw and 2 upside down cupcakes
  • Bagel Love - Includes 4 bagels, cream cheese, 1/2 lb nova lox, 2 pc sweet noodle kugel and 2 large chocolate chip cookies

Both packages include a personalized card from you! Visit to order and allow 48 hours for delivery to your student’s dorm or apartment.

Please note that we cannot deliver on major Jewish holidays, Shabbat, or weekends!
