The BEAR Project

The BEAR Project – Building Engagement Around Relationships – is a WashU Hillel initiative to help connect Jewish students to each other and Jewish life on campus. BEAR Fellows are empowered to create community and provide Jewish opportunities for their peers in new and exciting ways that don't already exist on campus. They also participate in an intensive Jewish learning and professional development classes throughout the year. Applications for our 2017-18 cohort are out now - apply here.

Front Desk Interns

Our front desk interns staff our building from 3-10pm Sundays-Thursdays. They sit at our front desk and monitor security cameras, assist in event setup and sign-in, answer the phone, and give tours to prospective families. Contact Missy if you're interested in being a front desk staffer. Staffing the front desk at Hillel is a work study eligible position, but you do not have to be work study eligible.

Program & Office Interns

Our Program & Office interns assist Hillel staff with day-to-day office tasks such as data organization input, donor mailings, and more. If you are interested in interning with us email Miriam.

Social Media & Design Interns

Our Social Media & Design team manage WashU Hillel's social media accounts and design campus and online publicity. If you're interested in interning, contact Miriam. This is a work study eligible position, but you do not need to be work study eligible.
