The Campus Leaders Israel Experience (CLIE) brings together Jewish and non-Jewish undergraduate student leaders at Washington University for an immersive educational experience in Israel. Participants will explore the complexities and nuances of the region by meaningfully interacting with Israeli society, history and culture. The trip will take place August 5-16, 2018, and includes airfare to and from Israel, two meals per day, accommodations in 4-5 star hotels, authentic Israeli Kibbutzim (communal farms), and a night in a Bedouin tent, plus travel medical insurance. Upon acceptance to the program, participants are responsible for providing a $150 deposit to be refunded upon completion of the program or withdrawal prior to May 20, 2018. Participants are required to book their own travel to and from JFK International Airport in NYC, and are responsible for covering one meal per day while in Israel, plus any additional spending money for snacks, souvenirs, etc.
